I Done Did That There NaNo Thing Again

What is NaNoWriMo?

It stands for "National Novel Writing Month" and it's a challenge for writers of all kinds to come together and attempt to write 50,000 words in a single month. That equates to 1,667 words every single day for the entire month of November. (Yes, it's always held in November)

This year was my second year participating in NaNoWriMo (not to be confused with Camp NaNoWriMo that's held earlier in the year. Same thing, different timing/layout). For my WIP - I worked on "Hallowed Trail" which is book 1 in the new series I'm writing >> The Communal Coven Series.

I came up with the cover already and sat down - with an outline (yes, I outlined a book) - and wrote the entire first draft during NaNo.

Now I have to edit the damn thing...

I'm planning to have this edited, formatted, and ready to go to my beta readers by late January/early February 2021.

The goal is to have this book out by the end of February/beginning of March 2021. And Lawd knows how I love to procrastinate.

Book 2 is already outlined, and I'm working into the middle of the outline for book 3. BUSY BUSY! If you haven't heard what I'm up to in 2021, stay tuned for a later blog post this week. (EEK!)
